DCCSupply Is P2PE Certified

A Milestone Worth Talking About

Last December, DCCSupply became a PCI-Validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) Encryption House. It's one of the proudest milestones in our company's history, and I want to use this edition of Adam's Corner to explain what it means and why it matters to the partners we work with every day.

Most people never think about what happens inside a payment terminal before it reaches a merchant's counter. In our business, that's exactly where security starts. Earning P2PE validation means the work we do on every device, before it ever ships, meets the highest standard the payments industry has.

What P2PE Actually Means

Point-to-Point Encryption protects card data the instant a card is tapped or dipped. The terminal encrypts the data on the spot, and it stays encrypted until it reaches the payment processor's secure environment. If anyone intercepts it along the way, all they get is unreadable data with no value.

For that to work, every terminal needs encryption keys loaded securely before deployment. That process is called key injection, and it has to happen in a tightly controlled facility. As a validated Encryption House, DCCSupply can generate, inject, manage, and transfer keys for a wide range of payment devices.

The word "validated" matters. Many providers offer encryption, but a PCI-validated process has been independently assessed against the PCI Security Standards Council's P2PE requirements. Our partners don't have to take our word for it.

What It Means for Our Partners

For ISOs and VARs, it means faster deployments and less operational complexity. We can source the hardware, inject the keys, kit the devices, and ship them ready to go, all under one roof. Fewer handoffs mean fewer delays and fewer places for something to go wrong.

For merchants, it means a streamlined PCI scope. When card data is encrypted inside the terminal through a validated process, far less of the merchant's environment ever touches readable card data. That can make compliance simpler and lower the risk of a costly breach.

For everyone, it means peace of mind. Payment threats keep getting more sophisticated, and our partners need to know the devices they deploy are secure from the start.

Why We Went After It

DCCSupply has always been about more than moving boxes. Over the years we've built a full ecosystem around payment hardware: lifecycle services, kitting, vendor-approved accessories, custom stands, refurbished equipment, and device management programs. Secure encryption services were the natural next step.

Our partners trust us with devices that will handle their customers' card data. Earning P2PE validation was our way of making sure that trust is backed by the industry's toughest standard, not just our promise.

Let's Talk

If you're planning a rollout, replacing a fleet of terminals, or looking for a simpler path to secure deployments, I'd love for our team to help. Reach out to us at sales@dccsupply.com to learn more about our P2PE capabilities.

Thank you to our team for the hard work that made this possible, and to our partners for trusting us with what matters most.
