DCCStands Key Locking Payment Terminal Stands

What is a key locking payment terminal stand?

A key locking payment terminal stand is designed to help protect your payment terminal from theft, tampering, and unauthorized removal. The terminal securely locks into the stand and can only be removed using the appropriate key or locking mechanism, depending on the model.

Which payment terminals are compatible with key locking stands?

Our DCCStands key locking collection includes mounting solutions for many of today's most popular payment terminals from PAX, Ingenico, Verifone, Clover, Dejavoo, First Data/Fiserv, NEXGO, Castles, Valor PayTech, and other supported manufacturers. Each product page lists exact compatibility to help you choose the correct stand.

How do key locking stands improve payment terminal security?

Key locking stands help deter theft and unauthorized removal by securing the payment terminal to the stand. They're especially popular in busy retail stores, restaurants, healthcare facilities, convenience stores, grocery stores, and other customer-facing environments where payment terminals remain accessible throughout the day.

Do key locking stands support PCI security best practices?

Physical security is an important component of protecting payment terminals. Key locking stands can help support your overall payment device security strategy by making unauthorized removal or tampering more difficult. However, merchants should continue to follow all applicable PCI DSS requirements and security procedures for their payment environment.

What's the difference between a key locking stand and a standard stand?

A standard stand securely mounts the payment terminal, while a key locking stand adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a key or locking mechanism to remove the terminal from the mount. This added security helps protect valuable payment equipment in high-traffic locations.

Are key locking stands available for different mounting styles?

Yes. Depending on the payment terminal, key locking models may be available as countertop stands, wall mounts, pole mounts, VESA mounts, and other mounting configurations. Refer to the individual product pages for available options.

Do key locking stands include cable management?

Yes. Many DCCStands key locking models feature integrated cable routing to keep power and communication cables organized, protected, and out of sight. This creates a cleaner checkout area while helping reduce cable wear from everyday use.

Will the locking mechanism interfere with chip, tap, or swipe payments?

No. DCCStands key locking stands are designed to maintain full access to your payment terminal's payment functions, including EMV chip readers, NFC contactless payments, magnetic stripe readers, charging ports, and other device features.

How easy is installation?

Most DCCStands key locking stands install quickly using the included mounting hardware. Depending on the model, installation may include countertop, wall, VESA, or other secure mounting options designed for commercial payment environments.

Do DCCStands key locking stands come with a warranty?

Yes. Every DCCStands product is backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, providing long-term confidence in the quality, durability, and performance of your payment terminal mount.
